If you haven't lost the weight yet, why are you worried? This is a problem that has yet to come.

My friend is much healthier since she lost her weight, but the damage of carrying that extra load all those years still lingers. She has a disk problem in her back and she had a hip replacement. She needs a cane or a walker to get around. Winters are a scary time for her. Her biggest fear is slipping on the ice. Please don't worry about the extra skin. You can deal with that problem when it arrives!

By the way, there is a woman in the news who lost 500 pounds after she starting spending time on message boards. She said that when she posted, people would respond to her -- they responded to what was within her because they could not see her. She had so much shame related to her size, that she never stepped outside. Her son would go out and bring her back 10 hamburgers, and she would eat all of them so that she did not have to feel. She was killing herself through food because she didn't feel like she had anything to offer the world. But when she began to realize that she had value, the weight dropped off.

I was very touched by that story.

P.S. My friend lost weight by cutting out all sugar from her diet. She felt she was addicted to sugar. I know that even today, she still struggles with food.
