First, she clearly is wearing Chuck Taylors which are like 1/2". Don't believe me? Well she is wearing the same outfit in the pick with Jeff Francis where she is sporting Chucks, so the pics must have been made the same evening.

Second, do you see how close is her shoulder to her cheek? She is totally doing a cute pose and is not standing up straingt.

Third, the pic is taken by somebody taller and is from above. Her height is not 1/2" above her hairline in that pic, that's still her skull. Her height is 1/4" below her hair on top (the bump below the bun).
